Letting Go...

When do you decide to let go of the past? Is it a conscious decision, or something that just happens gradually over time? Why is it that even when we want to move on we cling desperately to the last traces of who we were?

Most day I'm glad high school is over. There was to much drama involved in the whole process. Simple decisions felt as though they were a matter of life or death. As much as it drove me crazy I kind of miss it. There is something nice about a sense of urgency. A sense that I feel like I've lost.
I have a hard time feeling the slightest bit motivated to get out of my rut. There is no major struggling, just a gentle coasting.

I wish I knew how to shake things up.

Happy Thanksgiving all. I hope everyone gets (or has already had) their fill of turkey. Remember; the best things in life aren`t material objects. The best things in life are friends and family and the love we share.
I know that is horribly corny, especially coming from me. However, it is true. Every word.

Next up: Halloween. :D

Can`t Concert

There is this super awesome concert next week near where I live. The only problem is that it`s on a Wednesday and I work Monday-Friday. I can`t bring myself to go to a concert (and stay up until one or later) when I have to get up at 6:45am the next day. My favorite band is playing and it`s only $43.
Call me crazy but, as much as it sucks, work comes before play. I hope I don`t end up regretting this.

Off To The Big City

This weekend I`m off visiting my Aunt and Uncle and cousins in Vancouver. I`m not a big fan of cities and due to the long week I've had I could use a little down time...
However, I have been promising to visit for a while now and canceling last minute isn't like me. I just wish I didn't have to go to the city...

...I wish I had pepper spray...

Annoying Callers/Texters

So yesterday I had some random person text me a very stupid text. I didn't recognize the number and asked if I knew the person. The only response I got was 'Maybe'. I got fed up with mass amounts of annoying texts and told the person I was going to block their number. Unfortunately I couldn't remember where the block function on my phone was.
Four more ridiculous texts came which were chewing up my prepaid minutes. Angry beyond belief I called the number to demand the person stopped texting me. My reception is bad so I couldn't get the person to understand me but I heard enough of his voice to know it wasn't someone I knew. Disgusted, I hung up. About 5 minutes later he calls back and I answered. However, as I mentioned before my reception is bad. The phone disconnected.
Thankfully the person stopped trying to contact me. I looked the number up this morning and it was from Nanaimo. I'm going to have to check with my friends and see if any of them who live in Nanaimo have given out my number. I doubt it but I have to check to be sure.
